As an artist, we are always reaching for new levels in our creations. I am focused on pushing glass to its limits. Most of my work was with chemical reactions in glass - working with sulphur, copper, lead, and silver to see how I could transform the glass. I came across the movie, Holy Frit (and had mixed reactions which are beyond the scope of this post) and discovered the amazing glass artist Narcissus Quagliata who is taking the fusing of glass to new levels - making his own "premades" from glass powder and frit to create a watercolor look. Down another rabbit hole I am tumbling. I enrolled in the Master Class (see video below) and am once again a student. I have stopped production of my art and am now learning these new, mind-blowing techniques. Once I master even a few of them, I will proudly share. www.youtube.com/watch?v=KRutoNxiRqE
